MANUFACTURERS' ASSOCIATION
A meeting of the Management Committee of the Manufacturers' Association was held yesterday afternoon. There were present Messrs R. J. Hudson (president), J. R. Baiter, W. Burt, T. SomervlUe, W. R. Hayward, and R. W. Brickell. The "secretary of the head office of the Repatriation Board (Mr J. D. Gray) wrote as follows: —"I have received vxnrr letter of April 4, with icferenee to the resignation from the Ota go District Repatriation Board of Mr R. Hudson, a representative of the Dunedin Manufacturers' Association. I may say that no further action was taken in"this matter becarse the Otago Board, in referring to Mr Hudson's resignation, intimated that, as all their committees had now been arranged with the
13 members who composed the board, they ■were of opinion that there was no necessity to replace Mr Hudson."—The letter was received.
The secretary of the Otago A. and P Societv (Mr H. V. Fulton) wrote requesting the association to make a combined display of Dunedin manufactures at the Winter Show.—lt was decided to circularise the various members, and request tnem to make individual displays. The opinion was expressed that t would not be. possible for the association to make a combinc-d display.
