6i Last night the annual meeting of the Diniedin Lodge of the Theosophical Society wae held in the Thecsophical Hfill. Dowlivig street, at 8 p.m. The president (Mi- YV. A. The, following officers were elected :■ — President, Mr W. A. Scott ; vice-prosi-<lmLs, Mi.ss M. ITartley and Mr G. Richardson ; treaauver. Miss A." Hartley; eecratary, Mr C. E. Pell j committeo/ Messrs J. Grainger and A. E. Sccit; auditor, Atr A. IVadie. After tho elections were completed the Preside/nt. on behalf of tha members, presented to tho treasurer. Miss A. Hartley, a gold chain and pendant in recognition of her long and valuable services to the lodge. In closing the- meeting the President thanked the members for the lienor they had conferred upon him, expressed his appreciation of their support in the past, and hoped that their united efforts wopkl lead t.c. still more -substantial progress in the fuinre.
