HEREFORD BULL.

TO TEE EDITOR. Sir, —In to-days issue you state that “ the Hereford bull President Wilson realised 2,220gs at the dispersal sale of Mr Levett'a herd at Feilcling yesterday. This is said to be the highest price ever j given lor a Hereford bull.” 1 can assure you it is a very small price in comparison with one which took place in England lately. A Hereford bull was sola for 9,000g5, and there was the prospect of another being sold to beat that; but | whether it has come off yet or not I cannot say. Both the ‘ Stock Breeder and Farmer ’ and the ‘Farmers’ Gazette’ record the sale at 9.000g5.—1 am, etc., A.H. April 30.
