PLAYING THE GAME
A Paramount five-part drama, entitled ‘ Playing the Game,’ is at the head of an attractive programme shown initially at the Empire Theatre to-day. ‘ Playing the Game’ tells the story of a city youth who has inherited millions which he is wasting in night life along the Great White Way. Through the agency of a fight, wherein he believes he has kihed a man, the hero runs away from the authorities, which he supposes are after him, and goes to an Arizona ranch. There he develops his manhood, and remains to marry the daughter of the ranch manager The contrast between the life of the city and the healthful, expanding existence in the open country is decidedly marked.
