HARVEST THANKSGIVING

Harvest thanksgiving services were held on Sunday at the North-east Valley Baptist Church. There was a very fine display of fruit and produce, which had been donated' by members of the congregation and others, and addresses appropriate to the occasion were delivered by Bov. S. Morris to largo audiences both morning and evening. On Monday evening a sale of gifts was hold, when theCe was a large attendance, and very satis factory business resulted. A short programme was presented, musical items being contributed by Messrs H. Finlay. C. Flamank, and G. R.. Ansell, and a Shakespearean reading by members of the Young People’s Guild.
