Experts estimate that at least 55 par cent, or £BIO,OOO is caused by drink. This will be saved under Prohibition. Answer.—About £1,000,000 u year which is at present derived from the expenditure of £5,000.000 on liquor. Q.—WILL PROHIBITION MEAN ANY ADDITIONAL EXPENSE TO THE STATE? Answer.—Yes.
