JUNIOR LAWN TENNIS

The school tennis tournament, organised by the Junior Lawn Tennis Association, was begun on the Otago and University Courts this morning. The collegia'te schools represented were Archerfieid. Columba, Girls' High, St. Dominic's, and St. Hilda's. The interest in the competition was keen, 75 girls having entered for the singles and 80 for the doubles. There wero a number of visitors watching the sport, including Captain J. SNicholson, Mr R. A. Wilkie, and teach jrs and principals of the five collegiate schools Messrs A. E. Harraway, T. Regg, and B. B.
