A conference of chairmen of Repatriation Boards and Local Commnreoa at the chief provincial centres, ■ called to consider matters affecting the policy and procedure under the new Act, with a view to securing uniformity of administration, was concluded at Wellington yesterday. At the conclusion of business a motion was carried expressing the utmost confidence in the Ministerial Board of four as at present constituted, and appreciation of tne manner in which they were carryout their functions. Appreciative reference was also made to the I irector of Repatriation and to the head cilice for the energy and ability being displayed in tackling the problem of repatriation. The Westmoreland, which is expected to reach New Zealand about April 12, will bring 55 officers and 978 other ranks of the New Zealand Pioneer Battalion.
