Sir—lmmediately after the publication of the list of Arms' who were stated to be in favor of the Efficiency Board s proposals, and had agreed to join the deputation, we received a letter from Mr A. A. Paapo asking if the name of mir company had been rightly included. We at once replied in the negative, and were under the impression that our disclaimer, together with others, would be made public” As this has not been done, we respect full v ask you to publish a copy of our letter to Mr Taupe, dated February 26, 1919, viz. : In reply to your inquiry of the 25th inst.. we'beg to say that the name of Brown, Ewdng. and Co., Ltd., appears in the list (as published) without our knowledge or authority. —Wo are, etc..
