THE HORORATA
DELAY INTERFERES WITH ARRAN CEMENTS.
[Per United Press Association.] WELLdTgTON, March 14. Owing to the late arrival of tho Hororata, the arrangements for a special welcome have been materially interfered with. A procession of steamers waa to have met her with instrumental and choral music, but this was abandoned, and this part of the proceedings will bo confined to a musical serenade at night. To-morrow one or two steamers will go out with soldiers and others to exchange greetings, and there will be a welcome on the wharf, but tho demonstration, which was intended to be on ah unusual scale, has been shorn of much of its magnitude.
