CLYDE NOTES
[Special to the ‘ Star. ’] March 13. After a long spell of calm, clear wea'ther the district was visited by a heavy storm, hail and rain simply teeming down for half an hoar. This morning it is * again beautifully fine. The Jolly memorial bowling trophy was again won from CToraweil by Dunatiui Club yesterday, when Maiden, Gray, Bringans, and Davidson boat Smart, Humbles, Les Jolly, and Yeoman, 27 to 17. Rumor is current in the district that Dunedin Hospital is shamefully overcrowded, and tuat in consequence returned invalided soldiers are not getting justice.
