TRADE WITH PALESTINE.
The Government have received advice regarding the outlook for future trade with Palestine, and this indicates that there is kkely to be an opportunity for finding m that country a market for certain (.lasses of New Zealand produce. )t is pointed out that during tho year 1913 an amount of what is 'teniipd colonial produce, marketed in the port of Jaffa, was valued at £526,000, and constituted about 45 percent, of the whole of the imports. It is suggested that this might very easily be repeated in the first year of peace. Goods for which there is some scope for exportation to Palestine include hops, wool, and flour, and if shipping facilities become available when overseas trade is reorganised on a peace basis, the possibilities of Palestine .is a market may be worth bearing in mind.
