♦ A meeting of the. council of the above society was held in the practice room last night" Signer Scjuariso presiding.—lt was reported that Miss E. Smith and Mr Mortley Peake had consented to sing at the so'cictv's forthcoming concert. —It was resolved to hold the annual meeting in the Art Gallery at an early date, and to invite the subscribers to tke meeting. Arrangements were made to provide a musical programme. —The secretary submitted the draft annual report, which was approved.
