Mr 11. Y. Widdowson, S.M., hold a sitting of the Juvenile Court this afternoon. A boy aged 15 was charged with committing an indecent act on the Town Belt. His Worship described the lad's (conduct as disgusting. He admonished and discharge/1 him, on the understanding that his father gave him a whipping. _ Two boys were charged with stealing a bicycle valued at £2. One hoy was ordered to receive six strokes of the birch rod and fhe other three strokes. Another lad, charred with stealing a number of small articles valued at 10s 3d from a Bhop was admonished and discharged. At Wellington to-day {says a P.A. m<wBage) John Jameo Lee was committed for trial on a charge of attempting to murder his wife, of whom it is alleged he wat jealous and who had appealed for a separation order against him. The woman was cut on the face and neck with a razor, but not seriously.
