Marriage proves at first no anchor for her restless nature. When the contract brings unhappiness she turns to outside excitement, and is seen fluttered close to the danger line. Finally she makes the acquaintance of an attractive and mysterious soldier of fortune, and their intimacy gradually approaches _ the point of danger to which all such intimacies trend. In a. cleverly climaxed denouement she is snatched from the false life just in time. The piece is brilliantly produced and elegantly gowned. Other features of the programme are the Charles Chaplin special, ‘ The Immigrant,’ and the latest Topical News. Giving to the new regulation? as to picture-house hours, the serial ‘ The Fatal Ring’ cannot be shown to-night.
