Redfiekl (Secretary of Commerce), in the cour.se of a speech, said : Every ship which the world has and can get will be needed. For the next two years sea carriage is certain to bo taxed to its utmost capacity. It was necessary to democratise American business in ord«?r to assure American prosperity. It was now- assured, because the world's row materials had been placed on the basis of service instead of that of profits.
