ROUNDING UP THE TURKS WEST OF THE JORDAN. SMALL ENEMY FORCE EAST OF RIVER. The Turkish force westward of the Jordan therefore is boxui in. The total ration strength is 60,000 and the combatant strength 30,000. The Turkish force eastward of the Jordan is between 6,000 and 8,000 rifle strength, and the ration strength is 30,000. OUR PRISONERS' PARCELS. LONDON, September 23. In consequence of British representations, the Netherlands Minister at Constantinople is sending inspectors to tho Tin-Irish prisoner camps to investigate complaints of the non-delivery of parcels. The inspectors are taking 3,000 parcels, which have hitherto been detained at Constantinople by the Red Crescent.
