PATRIOTIC CONCERT

ANDERSON BAY GLEE CLUB.

In the Burns Hall last evening the Anderson Bay Glee Club, assisted by local performers, gave a very enjoyable concert. The proceeds of this concert are to be applied towards the cost of parcels of comforts which are sent regularly by the Bay Patriotic Association to the residents of Anderson Bay district on active service. There was a large attendance, and the various items given were much appreciated, encores being numerous. The Glee Cbb, under the conductorship of Mr H. B. Austing, contributed seven items to the programme, opening with 'The Viking Song.' Other performers were: Mr H. P. Desmoulins (song), Mr Trevor Do Clive Low ('cello solo), Miss Meda Pain© (song), Miss Ethel Pridham (song), Miss Ivy Mazengarb (recitation), ana Mr Sidney Gilchrist (song).
