Oats. —All grades continue to be strongly inquired for, but very little business is passing, owing to the paucity of offerings. Reed lines have been moving off freely, and stocks in stores are light. Potatoes. —Moderate consignments have been coming forward during the past week. Choice freshly-picked samples are in most demand. Medium quality and lines requiring picking are not readily quitted. Quotations ;—Beat freshly-picked tables, £ll 10s to £l2 10s; medium to good, £9 to £lO 10s per ton (sacks in). Chaff.—Consignments of late have- not been heavy, and all coming forward is meeting with ready sale. Shippers have been operating freely in addition to local feeders. Although choice quality is in most demand, medium quality and lower grade?, have been receiving- more attention. We quote; Choice, up to £3 IDs ; prime heavy, £8 to £8 ss; fair to good, £7 ICs in £7 15s; medium quality, £6 to £7 per ton (sacks extra).
