J. Bowler and E. J. Johnson were fined £o each, the Magistrate saying that both cases were the result of carelessness. In the Supremo Court at Wellington yesterday a case was commenced in which Dannatyne and Hunter claimed from J. W. Bell and Matthew G-uthrie, trading as the Anglo-American Music Store, £322 10a 3d for gramophone records supplied. r .ilie dispute centred round the question whether the records required a copyright stamp, and whether the defendants agreed to take the records without such stamps being affixed.
