NEW YORK, August 27. The British have captured Percmie station and Maricourt. [We print the above tor what it is worth. Maricourt is halfway on the road between Albert and Peronne, lying between Longueval and the Somme.] AIR RAID OM BRUGES. GREAT DAMAGE DOME. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association and Reuter. LONDON. August 27. The British Admiralty reports : Between August 19-25 our aeroplanes co-operating ■with the Navy dropped 27 tons of bombs on docks andi aerodromes in Belgium. Direct bite were secured on the submarine Shbiter at Bruges, and two largo explosions and big fires were caused at the docks. Tho enemy shipping and land batteries at Bruges were also attacked. We destroyed five machines and drove down five others. Four British machines are missing.
