LONDON. August 26. Air Prothero (President of the Board of Agriculture) ha* settled a number of farm workers’ grievan9Mb which threatened to seriously affect the garnering of the great harvest. Farmers have agreed to pay 30s for 44 hours weekly, with Is Id hourly overtime, as a minimum wage, thus allowing skilled men to receive more than that.
