COMPETITIONS SOCIETY
The society's annual festival will commence in Burns Hall to-morrow i at 10 a m The Mayor (Mr J. »• will officially open the competitions _ as the evening session. Over 800 .entries have been received, and interesting contests should be heard throughout. The. dancing sections promise to bo very attractive, a large entry having been received. Ureat intprost is also being taken in the hie and drum band contests, live entries having been received for both the A and the 15 grade contests. The entries all round are very satisfactory, and interesting programmes have been arranged for each session.
