(Received August 26, at 12.40 p.m.) The women's strike has partially disorganised the tube railway traffic. Four out of the eight lines are affected. The male workers on the tubas -and the union officials disapprove oi tlio strike. The officials refuse to negotiate on bdhalf of the strikers unless they resume work. (Received August 26, at 1.20- p.m.) The position of the London tube tra-fSo has improved. A large proportion of the staff on tlie late shift took up their duties, ■ and traffic is expected to be normal on Monday.
