AMALGAMATION OP UNIONS.

WELLINGTON, July 10.
In the Appeal Court judgment was given in the cafe of Rowley versa.'? the Canterbury Slaughtermen's Union. The question was as to the night of amalgamation of industrial unions in the some district connected with the same industry. The Court held that the words "connected with the same industry"' must be read in their primary meaning) and that there must be identity of industry, and not merelv a relation to it.
