A WAR MUSEUM
The officers of the Imperial War : Museum, which is to he established in London, are making a collection of "wartime publicity 'from all the belligerent countries," and they have wsked for the >!sststauce of His Majesty's Tr;ide Commissioner in New Zetland (Mr R. W.Dalton). Tliey want posters mid advertisements, official and commercial, dealing with war measures and conditions. " Our purpose is to give, as far as possible, a complete history of the war in advertisement, as well as to record the great part played bv advertising in the war," explains the director. "It "is bored that this col'ection of international war publicity, which will be permanently available for inspection, will help advertisers in this country to get a letter knowledge of the kind' of -appeal that is most effective in each country. It is therefore possible that this collection will be of great use in the extension of trade befcwen foreign countries, the colonics, and this country- The'-Trade Com Jiiissioner of WclJint'ton will be pleased to we've matters of the kind ind : ca-tecl. and will forward it to the Imperial War Museum.
