Grant reported that during the I'ivo months from the opening of the session till now ho had taught in the junior division of the daily class the latter part of the story of the Gospels and the Hook of | Acts. Whyte reported that ! he had taught, the senior division for thai, ! period the Four Gospels, the Hook of Acts | to chapter vii., the Epistles of James, 1 j Peter, and 1 John, and the Book of Psalms. In addition to the daily class the ministers have a. special class on Wednesday, under the Nelson system, from 9.15 to 9.45, almost all the scholars of the school beinj; present, and tho members of the staff giving also voluntary attendance. Tho Rev. Mr Grant reported that on Wednesdays ho had taught the junior division the Books of Samuel, Kings, and Daniel, illustrating tho lessons with the pictures of the Berean series. The Rev. A. Whyte reports 1 that he had taught the senior division the Old Testament story from Genesis to 1 Kings, oi' from Adam to Elijah, and had also given a series of lessons on the Gospel story, using also the Berean pictures. The association decided that for the next three months the arrangements bo as follows : —At Sawyers Hay Captain Elford to continue his present programme-; at Port Chalmers the daily class" to he conducted by two ministers,' the Rev. W. M. Grant taking the senior division and t.he Rev. H. S. Bishop taking the junior division, the Wednesday special classes to he stalled thus : .Senior division. Grant.
