FISK JUBILEE SINGERS
Speaking- of the present band of Jubilee Singers, the J\cv. J. M'Callnm, Lonsdale street Methodist Church, Melbourne, savs : " The sweetness of the voices, the accuracy of the execution carry the mind back to the early concerts of the first Jubilee Singers., who delighted audiences and taught them with sentiment while thev pleased them with melody. Thev will charm any audience. Thev make' their mark by giving plantation hymns as only can sing them. One of the greatest qualities 6f the Fisk Jubilee Singers' entertainment is its wholesomeness. Their inimitable easy manner when rendering the quaint old melodies that have a charm of their own makes one feel at home with them." The Fisk Jubilee Singers will commence a short season at the Burns Hall on Saturday next. The box plan is now open at' The Bristol Piano Company.
