A four-yeai'rold child named Marjorie Helen Buxton died at Shirley, Christehureli, on Tuesday, as the result of scalds received last Thursday. The mother of the child was washing in an outhouse, and in her absence the little girl poked the tire, upsetting a kettle of boiling water and scalding herself below the knees. Mr R. Fletcher, 60 residing at St. Albans, was knocked down by a cyclist at Christehurch last week. Ho died in the Hospital on Monday night.
