Wf, have the authority of the Prime Minister for saying tha-t, so Imperial far as the Government Conference, are concerned, there has
been no alteration in the arrangements for summoning the Imperial War Council to meet in London in June next, and that there will be concurrently a resumption 'of the sittings of the Imperial Conference. It must be assumed, therefore, that the cable man has. blundered. Such being the* fact—as will be demonstrated in due course—the decision of the National Government to hold an autumn session of our Parliament immediately after the Easter holidays stands ; as also does our declaration that a General Election must not be delayed indefinitely—certainly not later than March or April, 1919.
