Gerard, former United States Ambassador to Germany, is to return to law practice in the firm of Bower and Sands. 46 Cedar street, his former partners. A report to this effect is confirmed by Mr Gerard himself. ' Yes. it is true that I am to re-enter the firm of Bower and Sands,' he said ; • but not until eorne time in Dec-ember.'
