■ Our Invercargill correspondent wires:—Yardings to-dav : Cattle Fat. 104; store, 299. Sheep—Fat, 307; store, 270. The market'for store cattle was lifeless, except for well-bred, young animals. There was no outsid* opposition. Fat cattle went down "lOs per head all round. Fat wethers brought- up to 39s 6d and ewes to 355. 1
