OBITUARY
Another of Auckland's old colonists, Mrs John Williams, died at her residence, Devonport, recently. Mrs Williams,'' who was a native oi Montrose, Scotland, arrived at Auckland with her parents about 60 years ago an the ship Joseph Fletcher. For about 15 years past she had resided at Devonport. Cable advice was received in Napier last week of the death at Laurel Sanatorium. Laurel, Maryland, United States, of James Logan Mackay. late of Hastings, after a Ion? illness. The late Mr Mackav was a well-known sheepfarmer and stock buver.
