Kempthorne's property, situated at the corner of Albert and Cargill streets, was submitted, to auction. The section contains 24.38 poles, and has frontages of 54ft 6in to Albert street and 121 ft 6in to Cargill street. Bidding started at £SOO, and readied £7CO, there" after by bids of £25 and then £lO, the total of £B6O was reached, and the place knocked down to Mrs Oliver. "
