," Inquirer."—" Jugoslavs" are the nationalities - known as Croats, Serbians, and Slavonians, but are in reality only branches of one nationality, for they have a common origin, use the same language, and are animated by the same aspirations. They comprise 14,000.000 souls, of which five millions live in Serbia, seven and a-half millions in Austro-liungary, and 40,000 in Italy. It. is estimated that one 'and a-half millions reside either in the United States or in British Overseas Dominions.
