CASE AGAINST V-'INIFRFD CARRTCK At the trial in the Supreme Court at Christ-church yesterday of Winifred Carrick, aged 27 years,jm a charge of having murdered her son, Donald Lewis Carriek", aged three years, at Addington, Dr Champtaloup, of Dunedin, stated that a spade and .1 spanner sent to him for bac tenologieal examination had given a reaction of human blood.
