PLAGUE IN MONGOLIA

(Received January 10, at 10.35 a.m.) The ‘Morning Post’s’ Tientsin correspondent says_ that plagne has broken out in Mongolia arid is spreading across Northern Shan-ei. It is now within easy distance of Peking, where the foreign Legations are' pressing for a drastic antiplague campaign, but, owing to the delay, it is feared that it may be too late to suppress the epidemic.
