ABJMXGEHEOT WITH FREEZING COMPANIES. BUTOHKRS TO BE SUPPLIED. [Pee United Press Association*.] WELLINGTON, January 9. The- Prime Minister says the Govern* merrb havo lately completed an agreement with all the freezing companies, under which ttte retail butcher* in the Dominion can obtain supplies of meat at Imperial purchase prices, for the purposes of their retail trades. This agreement expressly Erovides that the meat to bo supplied may e either freshly killed or frozen, and ia already operating hi somo centres, where butchers are receiving freshly-killed-'meat from companies. Other butchers can do the same after obtaining the necessary perihitjso long as the class of meat required is available on the premises of the freezing company from which it is'desired to draw supplies. The only charges will be abattoir fees and a xninimum charge for storage.
