GREAT AERIAL ACTIVITY. RAID ON tfNEMY FACTORIES. LONDON, January 5. Sir Douglas Hnig reports : We repulsed raiders in the ; neighborhood of Hollebeke. An enemy party rushed a post eastward of Zonnebeko; a few of our men are missing. There is great aerial activity on both sides. On Thursday bombs were dropped on two .hostile aerodromes, railway lunctions, and hutments in the neighborhood of Houthulst> Forest and billets southward of Lille. Eight hostile aeroplanes were, brought down; three of ours are missing. Bombs were. dropped last night on six aerodromes, including that at Gontrode. Successful raids were carried out despite the very bad weather against factories at Maizieres-les-Metz. railway communications at "VVoippy. and the railway junction of St. 'i'rivat, all in the neighborhood of Metz. All our aeroplanes returned.
