A SLANDER ACTION

TVELLINGTON, August 30. The slander case of Isabel and Gladys Dayoy against Arthur Waklemar Schaef, a claim for £1,050 damages, was concluded in the Supremo Court to-day. A verdict was returned for £526. It was allcced that Schaef, while plaintiffs w G ie his tenants, made statements imputing imchastitv to them.
