INTER-COLLEGE TOURNAMENT. The second match of the triangular intercollegiate football tournament was 'played at Christ's College Ground, Chvistchurch, yesterday, when Wellington College met Wanganui College. The match resulted in a, draw, each team scoring 9 points. Wanganui scored three tries against two tries and a penalty. There was a large attendance. Wanganui were unlucky in not winning the match. Wanganui and Christ's College meet in the final to-morrow. O.R.F.U. The weekly meeting of the committee of Otago Rugby Football Union was held last evening. Mr H. Harris (president) occupied the chair. Mr P. Stevens wrote resigning from the committee, as it was his intention to reside out of town. It was decided to write to the Referees' Association asking why no referee had been appointed for the match between Union and University A. The referee (Mr It. A. Morrison) wrote stating that owing to the top-dressing of tho Asylum Ground he did not think it was in a tit state to play the third grade match bctvyeen Alhambra, and ZingariRichmond, and had declared the match off.—Received. The rector of the Boys' High School (Mr Morrell) wrote complaining of the conduct of the two teams jutt mentioned, and it was decided to hold an inquiry next week, both teams to be requested to be present.
