The collier Kahika bad her repaired rudder reshipped this morning in dock, and she is expected to get away this evening for Oamaru, Timaru, Westport, and Greymouth. The Union. ConTpany advise that the Kini is now expaeted to leave Onehunga to-morrow morning for We&tport to load coal fpr Kaipara. The Arahura arrived at Gisborne at 6 a.m. to-day from Napier. She will leave -the Poverty Bay port to-night again for Napier. CORINNA TO DOCK. The Corimia arrived at Wellington at 2 p.m. to-day from New Plymouth. She is expected to sail to-night for Dunedin, where she should arrive on Thursday morning. The Union Company advise that arrangements have been made to dock the Corinna at Port Chalmers for survey. This work should be completed early next week, and the vessel will sail about September 5 for New Plymouth via the usual way ports. THE SCHOONER HOUTO. The schooner Houto, v/hich has had twin oil engines installed at Port Chalmers, came up.to Dunedin to-day to load oil for Lyttelton. Trial runs out o.f the engines showed that the new machinery ran very smoothly, and is likely to prove eminentlv satisfactory.
