The Canterbury Company’s steamer Storm arrived at Dunedin this morning from Wellington and Lyttelton after an absence of several weeks. The vessel was delayed at Wellington for some time in tho completion of her survey and overhaul. Sho will leave here to-day for Timaru, Lyttelton. Picton, and Wanganui. Tho Union liner Manuka is timed (o leave Sydney at noon on Thursday for Wellington and Lyttelton. She should reach Wellington on Monday, February 5. The Westralia arrived at Auckland yesterday afternoon from .southern ports. Sho will leave tho northern port this evening for Sydney. Tho Rosamond left Dunedin yesterday afternoon for Bluff to discharge a. quantity of general cargo and to load for Wellington. 'The Hinemoa is due at Jackson’s Bay to-day from Milford Sound. She will afterwards visit Westport and CookStrait lighthouses, and is expected to arrive back at Wellington about tho end of this week. Tho Government, training ship Amoknra will be taken alongside the Glasgow wharf at Wellington this week in order to have some repairs and replacements' done to her winches preparatory to leaving for the northern islands. The Canterbury Company's steamer Breeze, which sailed late last night for way ports and Wanganui, is due back- at Dunedin on February 5. Sho is fixed to sail tho same day for Timaru, Lyttelton. Wellington, and Wanganui. _ The Eiverina. which arrived at Wellington yesterday from Sydney, brought 207 passengers ami about 1,000 tons of cargo. She. will leave Wellington on Thursday evening for Svdney and Hobart. The. Moeraki, which arrived at Sydney yesterday morning from Wellington’, will leave the New South Wales port to-dav for Hobart. She will return to Svdnev on February 5. and. is fixed to leave"there on February 8 for Wellington and Lyttelton. Air S. A. Murray, chief engineer of the Ngahere. has conic ashore on sick leave, his place has been taken by Mr A. Basiro. Captain J. At. Drewelte, of tho Monowax, who has been on leave, has rejoined In's shin. Air A. 11. Prosser, chief officer, has left the vessel, and Air G. -Macdonald lias signed on as extra officer. Air W. Anderson has signed on the Storm as chief engineer. Mr 11. Short Ixaa signed oxx the, Maori as assistant purser. V riling from London, Lieutenant A J Naylor, R.N., well known in Wellington as chxcf officer of the Komnta and other Union Company ships, states that he is enjoying the best of health, and has he.en posted as lieutenant to one of H.M. Dreadnoughts. Tho Kaiapoi arrived at Sydney yesterday from Grey-mouth.. After discharging her cargo of .timber she will go to Nowcastlo to load coal for Now Zealand^ Tho Kahika has been delayed in discharging operations at New Plymouth owing to a shortage of labor and railway trucks. She is now expected to leave the lax-anaki port to-day for Wostnort to load for Bluff and Oamam. Tne ixaituna is duo at Newcastle today from Melbourne to load for New Plymouth and Picton. The Tarawera, boxxnd from Auckland to southern ports. left Napier yesterday! afternoon for Wellington. Sho will leave j the latter port to-night for Lyttelton and I Dunedin.

Tho Whangape is due at Auckland tomorrow with a full cargo of coal from Newcastle. The Koromiko is expected to leave Sydney to-day for Newcastle, where she will load coal for Lyttelton. Ihe Kakapo, which is now discharging a cargo of Westport coal at Wellington, will afterwards return to Westport to load again for Wellington. Tho _ Cnrinna, which was delayed at Dunedin yesterday owing to a shortage of labor, is to sail to-day for New' Plymouth via the usual way ports. the ferry service. The Maori arrived at Lyttelton at 7.40 a.ni., and therefore missed connection with the first express. VICTORIA LEAVES SYDNEY. Cable advice received states that the IT udd art-Park or steamer Victoria w*as despatched from Sydney at 1 p.m. ybsterclay for Auckland. The Victoria has been absent from New' Zealand ■waters for about three mouths. During her lengthy stay at Sydney she has undergone an extensive overhaul and repairs. She should reach Auckland on Friday evening. Tho local office of tho Iluddart-Parker Company advised to-day that tho Victoria will only proceed as far as Wellington this trip. She will return to Sydney via Napier. Gisborne, and ' Auckland‘from Wellington. TE ANAU'S MOVEMENTS. The Union Company advise that the To Anau is fixed to leave Auckland tomorrow for Lyttelton and Dunedin. Tho vessel is available to lift any island fruit transhipments ex the Tallinn for South Island ports.
