THE REMUERA'S PASSENCERS
The R emu era, from London via Panama, arrived at Auckland on Saturday night with 21 returned soldiers. Major Turnbull. D.5.0., is in command of the party, which includes eight officers, 10 n.c.o.s, and three men. Ten men are returning for commissions. The wounded men benefited greatly by the voyage owing to the fact that cool weather was experienced in the equatorial zone. Lieutenant P. A. Rutherford (Royal Field Artillery), Onewhero. who was recently awarded the Military Cross, is on sick leave. IVn have received the sum of 4s, collected by Masters Willie and Charlie Martin on Ouy Fawkcs' Day on beliaif of the Cornwall fund.
