LOSS OF FORT VAUX.
THE GEXMAN ADMISSION. * LONDON, November 3. (Received November 1, at 11 15 a.m.) A German wireless message claims that their withdrawal from Fort Vaux was not observed by the French, who bombarded an empty fort for many hours, .and then strongly assaulted it, when they found it deserted. Owing to the French gains near Fort Douaumont, Fort Vaux _«iis valueless to Germany. " Therefore we retired to a more favorable line."
