TOKIO, August 18. The militant organs ana clamoring for drastic measures against Olrinia, but a settlement is expected. CHINA PROTESTS AGAINST JAPANESE GARRISON. _ WASHINGTON, August 20. (Received August 21, at 9.35 a.m.) China has protested to Japan against her sending 2,000 troops to check the reoent disturbance at Chenge-Cheatung, in Manchuria. China asserts that the trouble was due to bandit.-).
The situation has been discussed in the Japancse_ Cabinet, but the Chinese Legation at Washington does not expect serious developments.
