GRAND THEATRE. The star feature of the new programme at tho Grand Theatre is entitled ' The Guilty Woman' or ' The Hand at tile Window.' *lt is a. play which deals with a Dr Thomas, who goes to, London to take over the practice of Dr Jillard, who is about to retire. Amongst the latter's patients are Mrs Dupont, a young widow,, and Thelma Brighton, who is an adventuress and victim to drugs. Time passes, and Thelma becomes fascinated by the young doctor, but he repulses lier advances. Mrs Dupont also admires Thomas, and by degrees gains his affections. Later Thomas receives a message from Mrs Dupont, who is supposed to bo very ill. Ho leaves his wife and her brother, telling them that one of his patients has taken seriously ill. Mrs Thomas and her brother, on arrival at the theatre, find it closed, and instead of returning they visit a night club, whore Mrs Thomas is horrified to see.her husband enter with Mrs Dupont. Complications ensue, resulting in a tragedy, the cause of which is investigated, and revealed by a smart detective. The supporting pictures are excellent, and include a picture of tho latest war news from the front.

' Bullets and Brown Eyes' will be shown finally at the Octagon Theatre to-night. Another Mary Pk-kford feature, ' Hearts Adrift,' is announced for Monday evening. The Queen's Theatre management announce the final filming of the drama ' From Out the Big Snows,' and the Keystone-Triangle feature 'The Village Scandal.' The attraction for Monday will, be the four-part drama ' Charitv Ann.'

Comedy preponderates at the King Edward Theatre, the "star" offering being the Keystone 'Cinders of Love.'

'Aristocracy,' a powerful society drama,, will be shown finally at Everybody's Theatre to-night. * ' The Empire Theatre shows ' The ComeBack.'a drama of the lumber, camps, full of excitement.

'lruits of Desire' 'remains the head-hn-;i- i-.i the. Plaza to-day. On Mondav a Broadway drama, ' Lure of Societv,"' will be presented.
