GERMAN ECONOMICS.
EAT THE CRUMBS.
PARIS, August 18. A circular found on a prisoner states: "It is the duty of every soldier to economise food and forage, in order to counteract the enemy's efforts to starve us. Satisfy only your natural needs, and eat all the crumbs. You have a right to fenerous rations, but you need not eat all. »on't eat for the sake of eating It-is your duty to hand in all leavings and apparently useless articles, such as tins, Old clothes, hags, leather, and metal."
