LONDON, August 18.
In the House of Commons, tho Bill to prolong the life of Parliament came in tor some adverse critic-ism for unduly extending the period. The Government amended this, prolonging the life of Parliament to April 30, 1917, instead of the end of May. Tho ■Bill"'was read a third time.
