WEST INDIAN CYCLONE
Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. Renter's Telegrams. KINGSTON, August 17. A cyclone has swept Southern Jamaica. Ii is believed that the northern portion of the lsjaml cscsped. The banana crops principally suitcred. Communication with Kingston is cut off. Some deaths are reported."
